To offer memorable baby gift baskets that include classic children's books with high quality items that will be cherished, coordinated together in unique themes while offering consistent and professional customer service.
About Our Company:
Baskets for Babies was founded in 2001 by a mother of three. After years of purchasing gifts for friends to celebrate babies and receiving gifts for her own children, Founder and President, Amy Shalosky, had the desire to provide gift baskets that include items that were classic baby items of keepsake quality and items that coordinated together. She noticed that the "usual baby gift basket" was often a collection of baby items that were of mediocre quality, did not follow a coordinating theme, and did not offer the keepsake quality of items important to new mothers. Based on this observation and the desire to fill a niche market, the idea of using classic, keepsake books along with coordinating accessories and essential keepsake items in a beautiful gift basket was born.
We offer the classic baby books every baby and toddler enjoys with fun coordinating plush toys and keepsake items in a variety of themes, as well as a variety of traditional baskets with the essential keepsakes such as jacquard blankets, first plush toy, rattles, crocheted baby booties and our very own keepsake handprint kits. Many of our customers have shared with us that a particular classic book was a childhood favorite! We have been told many times that it is a pleasure to have a basket built around the particular theme to pass on a tradition to the new baby for special memories of his or her own childhood.
Baskets for Babies began several years ago as a vision for enjoyable, keepsake quality baby gifts and has since become a full-time labor of love for Amy and those who now join her in creating memorable baby gifts. Baskets for Babies has expanded over the past several years to include gifts for the entire family in anticipation and celebration of baby's arrival. We look forward to the joy of welcoming a special baby with you.
